Colorado Float season!
I am currently back in Basalt, Colorado where I will be float fishing the Roaring Fork and Colorado River. The fishing is gold metal and the current snow pack is shaping this season to be the best one yet! If you are in the western slope, give me a shout and we can get you on the boat! There is ample dry fly opportunities as well as nymphing. We get a lot of hatches throughout the summer that keep the fish feeding! Green drakes, yellow Sally’s, caddis, PMDs and BWO’s. Float fishing is the best way to catch numbers, size and get away from traffic. The shop I work for is Frying Pan Anglers, you can call them (970-927-3341) and request myself for a float trip to reserve your date! Looking forward to another great season out west!
